The Helix team has been working on what it means to have AI colleagues who can take on meaningful work together. Helix’s Chief of Staff is the starting point. It can take an open-ended goal, bring in specialists, coordinate their work, and return findings for a person to review.
That takes more than a collection of agents with impressive titles. Each specialist needs a clear role and a place to work. The person who set the goal needs to be able to follow the work and decide what happens next.
The latest post follows Priya as she gives the Chief of Staff an open-ended brief. It brings in a specialist, whose work is visible on a separate isolated agent desktop, and brings the findings back.
